License grant

By purchasing ShrinkCut you receive a personal license to use the Windows desktop software, subject to activation against shrinkcut.uk. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of license keys is prohibited. Refunds follow the refund policy.

Major-version coverage

Your purchase covers the major version line current at the time of sale (for example, all 1.x releases: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, …). Minor and patch updates within that major line are included at no extra charge when published through shrinkcut.uk.

A new major version (for example 1.x → 2.x) is a separate product line and requires a new license purchase if you choose to upgrade. You are not obliged to upgrade; you may keep using the last build in your licensed major line according to these terms.

Existing-customer upgrade discount

Customers with a valid prior ShrinkCut license are offered a discount of 50% off the then-current full price when purchasing a license for a new major version. Contact support with your original purchase email to redeem. The discount percentage may be updated by the seller; the rate shown on the pricing page at the time of the major-upgrade offer applies.

Trial

Unlicensed installs may use a limited trial (currently three compress/split/join jobs) before activation is required.

Warranty disclaimer

Software is provided as-is. We aim for reliable releases but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. GPU encode features depend on your hardware and drivers.
